Povratak brenda Swarovski na crveni tepih Met Gale po treći je put potvrđen kao jedan od ključnih trenutaka suvremene modne i kulturne scene, pri čemu je ovogodišnje izdanje, obilježeno temom „Fashion is Art“, otvorilo prostor za iznimno promišljenu i konceptualno slojevitu interpretaciju kristala kao autonomnog umjetničkog medija, kakvu je osmislila globalna kreativna direktorica Giovanna Engelbert. U društvu suvoditeljice večeri, Venus Williams, te umjetnice EJAE, Engelbert je oblikovala tri couture narativa koji nadilaze granice odijevanja i ulaze u područje vizualne umjetnosti, pritom obilježavajući i proljetnu izložbu Costume Art u okviru Costume Instituta. Dodatnu dimenziju večeri donijela je Cher, koja je svoj izgled oplemenila Swarovski nakitom, dok su dizajneri Robert Wun i Di Petsa integrirali kristalne elemente u vlastite couture kreacije, potvrđujući sveprisutnost i utjecaj brenda u suvremenoj visokoj modi.

U trenutku kada se modna scena sve snažnije okreće individualnosti i autorskom izrazu, obilježavanje desetljeća rada jednog brenda nadilazi puko slavlje kontinuiteta i prerasta u artikuliranu izjavu o identitetu, estetici i kreativnoj dosljednosti. Upravo u tom kontekstu Marina Matić kroz novu kolekciju svog brenda Larie za sezonu jesen/zima 2026./27. ne nudi retrospektivu u klasičnom smislu, već slojevitu, vizualno snažnu interpretaciju vlastitog dizajnerskog puta, u kojoj se jasno očituje evolucija rukopisa koji od početka odolijeva konvencijama.

WorldSkills Croatia 2026., koji će se od 5. do 7. svibnja održati u organizaciji Agencije za strukovno obrazovanje i obrazovanje odraslih, predstavlja najvažniji nacionalni i regionalni događaj u području strukovnog obrazovanja, a njegova sedma uzastopna realizacija potvrđuje stratešku usmjerenost prema sustavnom razvoju kompetencija usklađenih s potrebama suvremenog tržišta rada, tehnološkog napretka i dugoročnih gospodarskih prioriteta Republike Hrvatske. U okviru ovog sveobuhvatnog natjecanja sudjelovat će više od 350 najuspješnijih učenika iz više od 200 strukovnih škola, koji će se natjecati u ukupno 44 discipline, čime se osigurava reprezentativan presjek zanimanja koja obuhvaćaju i tradicionalne obrte i visokotehnološka područja, dok se kroz cjelokupni koncept događanja kontinuirano prati razvoj industrije i implementiraju suvremeni standardi obrazovanja.

Kolekcija Chanel Cruise 2026/27 Collection Biarritz pod nazivom Sous le salon la plage predstavlja iznimno slojevitu, povijesno ukorijenjenu i estetski razrađenu modnu naraciju koja nadilazi granice same odjeće, pretvarajući se u svojevrsni manifest slobode tijela, pokreta i identiteta, pri čemu kreativni direktor Matthieu Blazy u svom prvom Cruise izdanju za kuću Chanel svjesno ulazi u dijalog s nasljeđem Gabrielle Chanel, ali ga istovremeno reinterpretira kroz suvremenu prizmu senzualnosti, funkcionalnosti i poetske imaginacije.

U prostoru koji već desetljećima simbolizira susret umjetnosti, ideje i eksperimenta, Francuski paviljon SCZG i ove će godine postati pozornica jedne od najiščekivanijih modnih večeri akademske scene. U utorak, 5. svibnja 2026. godine, s početkom u 19 sati, održava se DIPMOD_11 – revija diplomskih radova studenata modnog dizajna Tekstilno-tehnološki fakultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, događaj koji iz godine u godinu potvrđuje kako moda nije tek estetska disciplina, već snažan medij osobnog izraza i društvenog komentara.

Jubilarno, peto izdanje festivala „Knjige u krošnjama”, koji se održava od 12. do 17. svibnja 2026. godine, pretvorit će Park Ribnjak u jedinstvenu pozornicu na otvorenom gdje se od ranog jutra do večeri književnost, zvuk i priroda stapaju u neraskidivu cjelinu. Ovaj festival, koji zajedničkim snagama organiziraju Centar kulture Ribnjak, Ibis grafika i Book&zvook, ove godine nosi poseban emotivni pečat zbog velikog nevremena koje je u ožujku park ostavilo bez osamnaest njegovih najstarijih drvenih čuvara. Upravo zato središnji dio programa otvorenja čini izložba „Glineni šapati zelenih divova”, kojom se kroz keramičke skulpture i baršunaste zvukove violina odaje počast tim palim sustanarima, pozivajući posjetitelje da zastanu i osjete neraskidivu vezu između ljudskog stvaralaštva i krhkosti prirode.
