Met Gala 2026, održana u Metropolitan Museum of Art u New Yorku, ponovno je pretvorila prvi ponedjeljak u svibnju u globalni modni trenutak koji nadilazi crveni tepih i ulazi u prostor kulturnog spektakla. Ovogodišnje izdanje odvijalo se pod tematskim okvirom “Costume Art”, koji je naglašavao ideju tijela kao umjetničkog platna te dijalog između mode, povijesti kostima i likovne umjetnosti.
Pod budnim okom Anne Wintour, koja i dalje oblikuje estetski i društveni kod Met Gale, večer je funkcionirala kao pažljivo režirana scenografija u kojoj se svaka pojava slavnih interpretirala kao umjetnički statement.
Dress code “Fashion Is Art” otvorio je prostor za maksimalnu kreativnost – od arhitektonskih silueta i skulpturalnih krojeva do minimalističkih, gotovo konceptualnih intervencija u tkanini.
