Mini izložba, otvorena od danas, utjelovljenje je jednostavne, ali duboke ideje: da nas predmeti iz prošlosti mogu voditi u budućnost. Hrvatska umjetnica s londonskom adresom Maja Vržina 22. listopada u Hrvatskom prirodoslovnom muzeju u Zagrebu otvara The Tree Knew, prostornu instalaciju čiji se razvoj proteže kroz gotovo dva desetljeća. Projekt je nastao iz dugotrajnog odnosa umjetnice prema jednom konkretnom mjestu u Londonu, Bunhill Fieldsu, i stablu kojemu se vraćala tijekom devetnaest godina. Umjesto klasičnog izložbenog postava sastavljenog od niza zasebnih radova, The Tree Knew zamišljen je kao cjelovito prostorno iskustvo u kojem se crtež, rukopis, objekt, svjetlo, tišina i kretanje posjetitelja spajaju u jedan rad.

Predstava se bavi izraelskim razaranjem Gaze, stradanjem palestinskog stanovništva i načinom na koji se vijesti o ratu uklapaju u svakodnevni život ljudi koji nasilje promatraju iz sigurnosti vlastitih domova.
